Many members of our staff grew up in textile families and have been involved with the industry's evolution. As a fourth-generation textile worker, President Jesse Leskanic has spent his entire life immersed in every aspect of the creation of fabrics. He's engraved gravure cylinders and screens, worked with traditional print mills, and began developing digital print technologies nearly a quarter-century ago. His former company, Fashion Technologies Incorporated, was the largest domestic screen engraver that developed and used its own scanning, digital printing and color separation systems. FTI supplied to companies creating fabrics, wallpaper, floor covering, gift wrap, packaging and heat transfer products. Leskanic's great-grandfather couldn't have imagined what Cheran is now capable of providing!
Because the Cheran staff designs and creates the software applications, and drives and supports digital print machines, our company can advise and oversee the implementation of non-traditional print technologies from beginning concept to end result. We assist our clients in developing the processes and the standard operating procedures to make them self-sufficient. In return, Cheran shares in the success of the new business through long-term royalty-sharing agreements.
